Have Your Say
The Cowichan Valley Regional District, Municipality of North Cowichan, Town of Ladysmith, City of Duncan, Town of Lake Cowichan and the Electoral Areas are now using PlaceSpeak to inform, consult and engage with citizens throughout the region. We are reaching out to citizens who have challenges attending public meetings and open houses, but would like to contribute their input on issues that they care about.
What is PlaceSpeak and How does it Work?
PlaceSpeak connects people with each other and places in their neighbourhoods. It allows individuals to voice their opinions, share ideas and engage in a local discussion in a wide variety of forums. Registration is easy and once you have signed up, you are free to start a thread for discussion and you will be prompted when someone else starts a topic of interest based on your chosen notification distance. This new system will make it easier for you to provide input on a variety of issues in the region that matter to you.
