Duncan to Conduct Second Citizen Satisfaction Survey
The City of Duncan will be launching its second Citizen Satisfaction Survey to gauge resident satisfaction and outline citizen priorities as part of the City’s commitment to improving customer service. Building on the previous survey conducted in 2014, this survey will help the City evaluate how it’s performing and identify where opportunities for improvement exist.
“Customer service is key for the City of Duncan and Council wants to ensure the thoughts and opinions of the residents are reflected in the programs and services we provide,” said Mayor Phil Kent. “The survey will help Council understand the needs and perceptions of our citizens and identify areas for improvement.”
Between September 28th and October 15th, Discovery Research, on behalf of the City of Duncan, will conduct a telephone survey of 400 random households to seek feedback on a variety of issues including satisfaction with City services, identify spending priorities, and customer service, including how people want to interact with the City (online, phone, in person). If residents receive a call, they are encouraged to take the time to provide feedback.
Residents who are not contacted by phone are invited to take part in the process by completing the on‐line version of the survey, which will be available on the the City’s website between September 28th and October 15th. The Citizen Survey findings will be presented to Council at the Monday, November 21, 2016 Council meeting.
Residents who have questions regarding the survey are encouraged to call City Hall at 250‐746‐6126.
