The City of Duncan is very pleased to announce the selection of its new Director of Corporate Services, Ms. Paige MacWilliam. Ms. MacWilliam originally came from Pemberton to the City in early 2016 as its Corporate Services Coordinator, and has been acting in the Director role since July 11, 2017.
Duncan Mayor and Council will be reconsidering when to hold the referendum on the amalgamation of Duncan and North Cowichan at a Special Meeting on September 5, 2017, at 5:00 pm, when all members of Council are present. The public are welcome to attend. City Council has previously debated whether
BC Hydro will be performing wire and electricity work related to the recent construction on Canada Avenue and Government Street August 13th, August 16th to August 18th, and August 20th. This work is necessary to energize the new infrastructure installed by Ralmax Contracting in June. No excavation or pole removals
