Land Disposition & Intention to Provide Assistance: Duncan Day Care Society Lease
PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, pursuant to Section 26 of the Community Charter, that the City of Duncan proposes to renew the lease of the land at 5650 Club Road to the Duncan Day Care Society for a period of five years, from November 1, 2018 to October 31, 2023, for the purpose of operating the Arcadian Early Learning Centre (day care). The land is legally described as Lot A, Section 17, Range 6, Quamichan District, Plan 24353.
In accordance with Section 24 of the Community Charter, the City of Duncan gives notice of the intention to provide assistance to the Duncan Day Care Society by disposing of the land by lease for less than market value for five years, at a rate of $1.00 per year, plus payment of utilities, taxes and general maintenance.
