Local Leadership in the Cowichan Valley to Stand United and Condemn Acts of Racism

DUNCAN – Local elected leaders in the Cowichan Valley will meet at 8:00 am tomorrow morning to stand united and condemn the recent acts of racism surrounding the Teddy the dog trial currently before the courts.

MP Alistair MacGregor, MLA Sonia Furstenau, City of Duncan Mayor Michelle Staples, North Cowichan Mayor Al Siebring and many other elected local leaders will join Cowichan Tribes Chief William (Chip) Seymour to stand together to call on the community to stop all acts of racism and let the Justice System do it’s job.
