Licence of Occupation Renewal (Old Firehouse Wine & Cocktail Bar Patio)
PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, pursuant to Section 26 of the Community Charter, that the City of Duncan proposes to renew the licence of occupation (June 1, 2017 to June 1, 2020) for the northeast corner of the City Square parking lot to Jeff Downie of The Old Firehouse Wine & Cocktail Bar, 40 Ingram Street, for an additional three (3) years to June 1, 2023, for the purpose of a licensed outdoor seating patio for a licence fee of $1,439/year. The land is described as the northeastern-most parking space of the City Square parking lot, of approximately 25.4 square metres, adjacent to 40 Ingram Street.
Due to COVID-19, in person attendance at Council meetings is restricted. Council is holding ‘virtual’ meetings online in order to comply with the Provincial Health Officer’s order to maintain safe physical distancing. Any person(s) who wish to comment on the proposed disposition, prior to Council consideration at the meeting on Monday, June 1, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. may submit their concerns by 4:00 p.m. May 26, 2020 to the undersigned or submit written comments in the drop box at City Hall, 200 Craig Street. Please ensure to include both your full name and address for identification purposes.
