What: Tree removal and replacement
Where: Station Street and City Square
When: Project begins Monday, March 28, 2022, est. complete by Friday, April 1, 2022
It has become evident that these trees are not suitable for the locations where they were planted. The American Sweet Gum tree grows 60 to 70 feet tall and spreads 40 to 50 feet wide at maturity with large branches prone to failure, and with a shallow root system, raises safety concerns including branches falling and tripping hazards.
