Station Street Placemaking Project Construction Starts November 25, 2024

Station Street Placemaking Project construction is set to begin on Monday, November 25, with construction fencing going up on Friday, November 22. There will be no construction related road closures, road work, or sidewalk closures between now and January 2, 2025.

A portion of the City parking lot on Kenneth Street closest to Canada Avenue is being used by the contractor for the duration of construction.

In January, expect:

• 1-2 days of Craig Street closure between Station Street and Kenneth Street
• 4 days of single-lane alternating traffic on Station Street adjacent to the work site
• Sidewalks on Craig Street and Station Street that border the park, and are part of the project, to be closed until project completion (April 30, 2025)

No other major road work is planned for the project. We will provide notice of road closures and road work dates as soon as they are scheduled. We appreciate your patience and look forward to improving our community space!
