Liquor Licensing

Liquor Licenses are issued by the Province of British Columbia’s Liquor & Cannabis Regulation Branch (LCRB). The LCRB requires local government support prior to issuing new or amending existing licences for liquor-primary establishments. Council supports responsible liquor-primary licensees who demonstrate a commitment to minimizing the negative impacts of their business operations on the community.

If you are hosting a special event (e.g., wedding, sports tournament, dinner and dance, or other type of one-time event) and want to serve beer, wine or spirits, you need a Special Event Permit.
