Families are invited to the picnic area to play, learn, discover and have fun. StrongStart is a free, drop in, early learning program for preschool-aged children accompanied by a parent or caregiver. A qualified early childhood educator leads activities, including stories, music, art and crafts to help children grow in language development, literacy and socially.
Global Vocational Services will be hosting an open house community event at the Station Street park. The event will include a barbecue, information table, face painting, bubbles and a musician.
There will be two new Transit Vicinity buses parked and open to the public to see.
Craig Street will be blocked off in front of Just Jakes Restaurant (45 Craig St) and Craig Street Brew Pub (25 Craig St) Friday and Saturday to accommodate outdoor tables and a stage.
The Vintage & Classic Motorcycle Show & Shine will be held on Kenneth Street as part of the Duncan Day celebrations.
The Downtown Duncan BIA's annual Kids' Parade will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 9:00 am and will be parading down Kenneth Street and Jubilee Street.
