Heiwa Park

The Heiwa Park green space was built in 2013 and offers a great resting place while using the stairs to Cairnsmore Street or walking Canada Avenue to and from the City.

This park is named in honour of the Japanese-Canadian residents of Duncan whose homes and market gardens were within walking distance of this park before they were interned during WWII.
