Public Notice – Use of City Square and Ingram Street
Pursuant to Section 24 and 26 of the Community Charter, the City of Duncan proposes a three-party agreement with the Downtown Duncan Business Improvement Area Society (DDBIA) and The Duncan Farmer’s Market Society (DFM) for a five-year term, April 1, 2023 to March 31, 2028, to authorize the use of City Square and a portion of Ingram Street (between the driveways of 107 Ingram Street and 186 Ingram Street, starting 10 feet east of the 107 Ingram Street driveway) for the purpose of operating the Duncan Farmers’ Market on Saturdays and some Thursday evenings. The DFM will pay fees to the DDBIA:
- 2023 – $16,213
- 2024 – $16,862
- 2025 – $17,536
- 2026 – $18,238
- 2027 – $18,967
Thursday Night Market Fees will be 50% of the fee for one Saturday Market (est. $324).
