Annual Awards Meeting

The City hosts an Annual Awards Meeting and reception in early December each year. It is usually a formal meeting at Duncan City Hall, 200 Craig Street, where Council presents awards to Cowichan Valley residents who demonstrate excellence in the fields of arts, sports and long-term service to the community.
Due to COVID-19, the Annual Awards Council Meeting of December 6, 2021, will be hosted online, and live-stream at 6:00 p.m. through the City’s website, here https://duncan.civicweb.net/portal/ , or you may go to YouTube.com and search “City of Duncan”. The Council meeting agenda will be posted the Thursday before the scheduled meeting and the video of the Council meeting will always be available for viewing on YouTube.
Awards recipients will be presented their award prior to the meeting, and invited to join Council online for the meeting to receive the recognition they deserve.
