Land Disposition & Intention to Provide Assistance: Jubilee Community Garden Lease
PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, pursuant to Section 26 of the Community Charter, that the City of Duncan proposes to amend the current lease (October 1, 2016 to September 30, 2019) for the north end of Centennial Park to the Jubilee Community Gardens Society for an additional four and a half years, to March 31, 2024, for the purpose of operating a community garden. The land is legally described as Lot 4, Block 8, Sections 18, Range 5, Quamichan District, Plan 12568 (Except Part in Plan 29453).
In accordance with Section 24 of the Community Charter, the City of Duncan gives notice of the intention to provide assistance to the Jubilee Community Garden Society by disposing of land by lease for less than market value, at the rate of $1 per year, for an additional three and a half years.
