Remembrance Day, November 11, 2020
A SMALL, INVITATION ONLY REMEMBRANCE DAY CEREMONY, in honour of our veterans who made the ultimate sacrifice on behalf of Canada, will be held at the Duncan Cenotaph, Charles Hoey Park on November 11. Those invited by the Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 53 (Cowichan) must wear a mask and maintain social distancing (6ft).
The Legion is requesting that the public watch or listen to the Cowichan Remembrance Day event from their homes, live on November 11th, at 10:55 a.m. on:

- 89.7 Juice FM radio,
- Shaw Communications community channel,
- Shaw Spotlight Channel 4, or
- 105 on BlueCurveTV
People may also support the Legion by:
- purchasing a poppy during Poppy Tag Days, Oct. 30 – Nov. 11, at local retailers throughout the Cowichan Valley,
