2023 Citizen Survey Launched
DUNCAN – The City of Duncan is pleased to announce that it has hired Discovery Research to conduct a Citizen Survey by mailout. The survey is intended to gather feedback from residents on a range of topics related to the city’s services and operations.
“We are committed to continuously improving the City’s services and operations,” said Mayor Michelle Staples. “The Citizen Survey is an effective way for us to gather feedback and insights from a variety of people who live in the City”.
The survey will cover topics such as public safety, transportation, parks and recreation, waste management, and more. The results of the survey will be used to inform the city’s strategic planning and budgeting processes.
“We are pleased to once again partner with Discovery Research on this important project,” said Peter de Verteuil, CAO. “Their expertise in survey research and data analysis will help ensure that we receive accurate and meaningful feedback from our residents.”
Residents can expect to receive the survey by mail in the coming week. The survey will include a prepaid return envelope, and responses will be anonymous and confidential.
Alternatively, if residents would like to partake in the Citizen Survey they may do so in three other ways until May 29, 2023:
- Visit the city’s new online engagement platform at: Citizen Survey 2023 | Duncan Engagement Site
- Drop by City Hall, 200 Craig Street, and pick up a paper copy, or
- Phone City Hall at 250-746-6126, and request to do the survey over the phone.
“We encourage all residents to take the time to complete the survey and share their thoughts with us,” said Mayor Staples. “Your feedback is important to us and will help us make informed decisions about how to improve our services and operations.”
