Council Update – February 20, 2024

The City of Duncan Council Update is a snapshot of items considered at meetings of Council. These are not the official minutes. Meeting agendas, minutes, and videos can be accessed through the City’s Council Meeting Portal.

• Council received the report of the Chief Administrative Officer that included updates on a number of City initiatives.
• Council approved first and second readings of the revised new City of Duncan Official Community Plan Bylaw and directed staff to schedule a Public Hearing. More information on the revised OCP is available online at https://bigconversations.duncan.ca/ocp.
• Council approved first three readings of the Financial Plan Bylaw to establish the Financial Plan for 2024-2028. More information on the 2024 Budget can be found on our Small Town. Big Conversations. public engagement page at bigconversations.duncan.ca/2024-budget.
• Council proclaimed June 2024 as Deafblind Awareness Month in the City of Duncan.
