Pursuant to Section 98 and 99 of the Community Charter, the City of Duncan’s 2023 Annual Report will be considered by Council at the June 17, 2024, meeting at 6:00 p.m. in Council Chamber at Duncan City Hall, 200 Craig Street. Submissions and questions from the public are welcome.
Council will consider first, second, and third readings and adoption of “Zoning Bylaw Amendment Bylaw No. 3166.05, 2024” on Monday, June 3, 2024. In accordance with new provincial housing legislation (Section 464(3) of the Local Government Act), the City is prohibited from holding a public hearing on this bylaw.

Council received the report of the Chief Administrative Officer that included updates onCity of Duncan property tax notices are being mailed out today, with payments due no later than 4:00 pm on July 2, 2024.

Effective May 15, 2024, new traffic signal timing has been implemented at the Canada Avenue – Government Street – Cowichan Way dual intersections. The new timing has been carefully designed to improve the intersection dynamics overall.
