We are saddened to learn of the passing of former Premier of British Columbia John Horgan. In recognition, City Hall flags will be lowered to half-staff until after the funeral or memorial service in his honour.

The City of Duncan recycling collection truck has a broken hydraulic hose. We expect repairs to been made this afternoon, and our truck driver will be working late so that the recycling collection service can continue. Please leave your recycling and organics out until 7 pm. If they haven't been

PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to Sections 24 and 26 of the Community Charter that the City of Duncan proposes to lease the easterly 76 ft x 15 ft of the lane adjacent to 693 Powell Street  (Lot 5, Block 3, Section 17, Range 7, Quamichan District, Plan VIP 1721)

Please be advised that road improvement work will be beginning on Marchmont Road from November 12 until mid-December 2024, then resuming again in March 2025 until the end of April 2025 when the project is expected to be complete.

Works include watermain upgrades, storm upgrades, sidewalk and road resurfacing.
