Duncan Proclaims Pollinator Week and Lights Up City Hall for Pollinator Awareness

The City of Duncan is celebrating Pollinator Week from June 16 – 22, 2025! During the week, Duncan City Hall will be illuminated in yellow and orange to celebrate these hardworking creatures essential to the health and sustainability of our environment and food systems.

As a Bee City, Duncan has committed to a variety of actions to support pollinators and their habitat. Among them are:

• encouraging residents to provide diverse and abundant nectar and pollen producing plants;
• including designated pollinator zones in public spaces where possible; and
• increasing awareness of pollinator friendly plant material.
