Sierra Traffic Solutions will be training students from Cowichan Valley Youth Services in Traffic Control and will have single alternating traffic in order for the students to receive their certification in traffic control. Superior Excavating will be doing Shaw Cable and Telus installation on College Street on March 19, 2021. During this time there may be single lane alternating traffic. The City had scheduled street sweeping for the downtown area for March 17, 2021, and had been making preparations by blowing materials off sidewalks and onto the street edges for the sweeper to pick up. Unfortunately, last night the sweeper broke down and is not available until next week.
