Special Committee of the Whole – Joint with North Cowichan

Each year, City of Duncan and North Cowichan hold a joint Committee of the Whole meeting. This year, the meeting will take place on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 @ 6:00 p.m. Cowichan Valley Regional District Board Room, 175 Ingram Street, Duncan, BC.
The Committee of the Whole includes all members of Council and it operates like any ordinary committee in that recommendations are forwarded to Council for ratification but its purpose is to allow all members of Council an opportunity to engage in informal discussion on ideas and proposals which may eventually result in a recommendation to Council. The Committee of the Whole meeting agenda will be posted on Thursday before each scheduled meeting.
The Committee of the Whole meeting minutes will be available as soon as possible after the meeting. Please note that the meeting minutes are draft until approved by Council.
