DUNCAN - After serving with the Duncan Fire Department for 34 years, 13 years in the capacity of Fire Chief, Fire Chief Mike McKinlay has retired.
Mike has been a tremendous leader, following in the footsteps of Glenn Mackie who was Fire Chief when he first started with the Fire

Duncan Street will be closed north of Ingram Street to James Street, from Monday, August 23 - Friday, August 27, 2021, due to construction.Barricades will be across Duncan Street (at Ingram), however Traffic Control Personnel will be available to give access to LOCAL TRAFFIC ONLY, and safely guide pedestrians

DUNCAN - Due to the high temperatures expected and the early closure of CVRD waste and recycling facilities, the City may not get to your garbage/organics/recycling today. Residents that do not get their garbage/organics/recycling picked up, please keep them out as staff will be starting early tomorrow morning to catch up.
