City of Duncan Council will consider issuing a Temporary Use Permit (TUP) for LOT A (DD G34612), BLOCK 3, SECTION 18, RANGE 6, QUAMICHAN DISTRICT, PLAN 798, located at 521 Canada Avenue, Duncan, BC.

What is the purpose of the Temporary Use Permit?

The City has received an application to issue a new TUP to authorize the continued use of the subject property for a cannabis retail store. The proposed new TUP, if issued, would be valid for a 3-year term from August 14, 2023, to August 14, 2026.

Attend the Council meeting at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, August 14, 2023, at City Hall, 200 Craig Street, Duncan, BC for the opportunity to speak, or provide written comments mailed or delivered to City Hall and addressed to Director of Corporate Services, City of Duncan, 200 Craig Street, Duncan BC V9L 1W3 or emailed to before 12:00 p.m., Thursday, August 10, 2023. All correspondence received after 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 10, 2023, and before 3:00 p.m. on Monday, August 14, 2023, will be submitted for public record during the meeting.
