An “art-turned-protest” display representing the astounding number of Indigenous women and girls lost to violent crime in Canada, and as a call for action to prevent future violence. An empty garment of clothing operates as a marker for those who are no longer with us. Displayed in trees, red dresses become a silent prayer vigil.

Cowichan Pride Society is hosting its 2nd annual Cowichan Pride Walk and Festival! The Walk begins at the Vancouver Island University parking lot and ends at City Square for the Festival.

Van Isle Strength is hosting a Western Canada Strongest Man event in City Square and on sections of Craig Street and Ingram Street between 11 am and 3 pm.
