BC Housing want to continue the conversation about the new supportive housing at 260 White Road in Duncan.Citizens are invited to receive an update on the project, meet the non-profit building operators, and provide input on the exterior design. There are three ways you can participate:
Neighbourhood Dialogues –
Construction is being done on the building at 281 Canada Avenue and scaffolding has been put up to protect pedestrians walking below. However, Lois Lane may be temporarily blocked at times throughout the day, as needed. To access to City Square please enter from Ingram Street or Kenneth Street.
Stone Pacific will be doing test holes for proposed sanitary service crossing at 300 Government Street on February 10 & 11, 2021. During this time single lane alternating traffic and/or sidewalk closure will be in effect. Traffic Control will safely guide pedestrians and vehicles around the site. Where: 300 Government
Sierra Traffic Solutions will be training students from Cowichan Valley Youth Services in Traffic Control and will have single alternating traffic in order for the youth to receive their certification in traffic control. Where: McKinstry Road (between Wharncliffe Road and Castle Street) When: February 9, 2021 from Noon - 3:00 p.m.
