Friendship Square – Hiiye’yutul’

The City of Duncan first purchased this green space in 2013. A modest refurbishment took place in 2016 by adding picnic tables, a gravel pathway between Station Street and Kenneth Street No. 1 parking lot, trees and artificial grass.

In 2025, the park underwent a significant revitalization through the Station Street Placemaking Project to introduce a new layout, public stage, washroom facilities, and several accessibility features.

The park is used by visitors viewing the Totem Poles and others enjoying their lunch or just having a rest before continuing their trek around town.
