An “art-turned-protest” display representing the astounding number of Indigenous women and girls lost to violent crime in Canada, and as a call for action to prevent future violence. An empty garment of clothing operates as a marker for those who are no longer with us. Displayed in trees, red dresses become a silent prayer vigil.

Cowichan Pride Society is hosting its 2nd annual Cowichan Pride Walk and Festival! The Walk begins at the Vancouver Island University parking lot and ends at City Square for the Festival.

Van Isle Strength is hosting a Western Canada Strongest Man event in City Square and on sections of Craig Street and Ingram Street between 11 am and 3 pm.

Duncan Days is back! Visit downtown Duncan July 12 - 14 for sidewalk sales, street party, and car and motorcycle show and shine. MS Bike Cowichan will be riding through Duncan on July 13, 2024, raising funds for MS Canada. Rolling road closures will occur with support from the RCMP. Find the route maps below, and visit MS Canada's website for information on MS Bike events.     Short Route (37 km)             

The Duncan-Cowichan Festival Society Grande Parade is returning to downtown Duncan on July 13, 2024. Join the fun between 10:00 am and 12:00 pm, beginning and ending at the Cowichan Recreation Centre. Traffic control will be in place.

Duncan Elks Lodge #69 is hosting it's 2nd Annual Open Car Show in downtown Duncan! July 13 from 11 am - 7 pm July 14 from 9 am - 6pm (Car Show between 9am - 3pm) The Car Show will be held on Kenneth Street between Government Street and Craig Street, and on Jubilee Street
