Public Notice: A Special Closed Meeting of Duncan City Council will be held:

LOCATION: Duncan City Hall, 200 Craig Street, Duncan, BC
PURPOSE: This meeting will be closed to the public under the following section of theCommunity Charter to discuss matters
A portion of Lois Lane will be blocked off from March 7-28, 2022, to accommodate a roof being replaced at 55 Lois Lane. Scaffolding will be set up around a portion of the building and a bin placed on site for disposal. Work will be taking place 7-8 hours a day.
The City of Duncan has implemented an indefinite closure for the riverside portion of the Rotary Park trail system for the public’s safety. The Cowichan River has eroded its banks, washing away some of the trail and exposing tree roots, causing one tree to fall across the trail and destabilizing others.
Waste Connections has advised the City that they are a couple drivers down today due to illnesses. They are aiming to do today's pickup and Wednesday's route all tomorrow, March 2, 2022. If they cannot get to all the pickups tomorrow, they will get the rest all on Thursday.
Coastal Installations Pre-fab Ltd. will be parking on College Street to deliver and install a modular daycare unit; skirting, stairs, HVAC, electrical and hydro. Parking will be suspended near 1040 College Street on February 28th, 2022, from approximately 7:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Traffic control will be in place to
