Community Energy and Emissions Plan

The City’s Community Energy and Emissions Plan (CEEP) has been in place since 2015 to guide sustainable municipal efforts in reducing energy consumption and emissions. The Plan outlines many actions the City has taken to respond to climate change, as well as actions the City can take in the near future. An energy and emissions inventory helps a community to understand how much energy it consumes and for what purposes it is used, how much greenhouse gases it emits, and where the emissions come from.

The CEEP incorporates the following sustainable energy hierarchy in reducing energy usage and emissions.
